Deer Management

Here at Double Driven Outfitters we want each hunter to have the opportunity to harvest mature whitetails now and in the future on our properties.

To aid in these efforts, we have an antler restriction which requires hunters to only harvest bucks that score 130” inches or more.

A $1,000 dollar penalty will be charged for any buck that doesn’t meet this requirement, measured and determined by the guide/owner.

A buck that is deemed mature by the guide/owner will not need measured and will be seen as meeting the restriction.

If a hunter has taken a shot on an animal, we recommend they remain in the stand a minimum of 30 mins to access the situation.

If blood was drawn, you need to return to your vehicle and notify the guide/owner. They will then proceed to help you retrieve your animal.

Absolutely no wandering around!

This will help everyone in the successful retrieval of their animal and keep disturbance to a minimum.

If an animal is not found but blood is drawn, your tag will be the same as filled and you will no longer be able to continue hunting with us.

Please understand this is only fair to the other hunters and the future of our deer management.

SO PLEASE, ask if you have any questions.

In areas that have a large doe population we may allow hunters to harvest doe to fill a tag. Hunters may be allowed to return during the antlerless portion of the season to harvest a doe if desired.
